Keturah Orji
Paraplanner
My name is Keturah Orji and I am originally from New Jersey, but moved to Georgia in 2014 to attend the University of Georgia (UGA) where I graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Financial Planning and also completed my master’s degree in Sport Management & Policy. This is where my passion for financial literacy grew. I felt so called to this passion that in 2021, I started my own financial coaching business while balancing being a full-time professional athlete. I recently passed the Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC) exam and I’m currently working towards earning hours to finish this certification.
Within the other hours of my day, I am a Mizuno sponsored professional track and field athlete. I’m most known for opening a new era of greatness in the American triple jump. In the 2016 Rio Olympics, I finished 4th for Team USA, which is the highest finish by an American woman. I am also a 9x U.S. champion and have broken the American record more than 4 times. While at UGA, I won the Bowerman, also known as the Heisman of track and field, which is awarded to the top male and female collegiate track and field athlete.
For fun, I love mentoring young girls, reading, traveling with my husband, playing board or card games, and hanging out with my friends. My discipline, organization, consistency, and encouragement help me to stand out in all areas of life and I’m so excited to bring these qualities to SeedSafe!
doesn't mean you'll stop working.
